Call our hotline at 415-66-DOULA 24/7 to request a doula at your birth. We serve all Sonoma County hospitals and birth centers.

Amy Popplewell is the Director of the In a Pinch Doula Program and has been on the board with Better Beginnings since 2016. Amy helps pair new birthing parents with our volunteer doulas and mentors new birth doulas along the way to their certification. She is a birth doula and has been attending births since 2010. She is currently earning her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner in her pursuit of a career in Women's Health. She has experience in postpartum nursing care and she's a lactation specialist.

Natalie Doyle is a San Francisco native passionate about the full spectrum of reproductive health. She works with In A Pinch Doulas as a birth doula and runs the program's strategy & operations. In addition to her volunteer roles with In A Pinch Doulas, Natalie works as a healthcare consultant and is an avid poet, baker, and road biker. She studied Global Health and Development at Harvard College and has a Masters in Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
